From March 24 to March 26, 2023, the 2022 China (Hainan) Sports Goods and Equipment Import Expo (referred to as "Sports Expo"), guided by the People's Government of Hainan Province, organized by the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture, Radio, Television, and Sports, and the China Sporting Goods Federation, and undertaken by the Hainan Marinetime Silk Road Culture Development Foundation, and co-organized by the Oriental Universal International Convention &Exhibition Group, will be held at halls 1-3 of the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center.

As the first boutique and professional exhibition in China focusing on the import of sports goods and equipment, the Sports Expo has become an important window for promoting the integration of global sports industry brands with the advantages of Hainan Free Trade Port's comprehensive development, combining with Hainan's preferential industry tax-free policies, sharing China's benefits from expanding opening-up and promoting cooperation in the international sports tourism industry chain.
With the theme of "Open Cooperation And Mutually Beneficial Development", this year's Sports Expo covers various aspects such as sports goods, equipment, events, culture, and conferences. The exhibition includes 15 major areas including water sports equipment and supplies, all-terrain vehicles, sports aviation, and sports events, with a total exhibition area of 37,500 square meters, and over 300 participating brands from over 30 countries and domestic regions. Through organizing "exhibitions, conferences, forums, and events," the focus is on creating a high-end exhibition of imported sports equipment and services, organizing professional buyer groups, promoting pre-positioning services for duty-free warehouses and the sports duty-free retail industry chain, and creating a window for Hainan to connect with international sports, culture, and tourism exchanges, as well as a platform for connecting the domestic sports industry through the Hainan Free Trade Port.
