The 11th World Free Zones Organization Conference

On October 10, 2025, the 11th World Free Zones Organization Conference, jointly hosted by the World Free Zones Organization and the Hainan International Economic Development Bureau, officially kicked off at Hall 5 of the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center. This year's conference is themed "Free Zones: The Gateway to Global Prosperity, Trade, and Sustainable Innovation." Notably, this marks the first time the event has been held in China. Over the course of three days, the conference will feature a series of high-end forums, parallel sessions, and networking activities. Attendees will delve into cutting-edge topics such as how free zones can drive economic growth, enhance trade connectivity, and foster technological integration on a global scale. The World Free Zones Organization is a non-profit, non-governmental organization registered in Switzerland with its headquarters based in Dubai, making it a leading authority in the global free zone community. Hainan Free Trade Port will launch island-wide closed-loop operations on December 18 this year. Once fully operational, the port will significantly streamline the flow of people, goods, capital, and data, further boosting innovation, sustainability, inclusivity, and green development across global free zones. 2025 World New Energy Vehicle Conference

From September 27 to 29, 2025, the 2025 World New Energy Vehicle Conference will be held at Hall 5 of the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center and the Banquet Hall in Area A of the Conference Center. Hosted by the China Association for Science and Technology, the People's Government of Hainan Province, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the event is organized by the China Automotive Engineering Society, the Auto100 Research Institute, the Hainan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Hainan Provincial Association for Science and Technology, and the Haikou Municipal People's Government. The exhibition area spans approximately 10,000㎡. This year’s conference features a total of 20 sessions, including a main forum, specialized forums, dialogue meetings, networking events, and working sessions. More than 50 global companies from the new energy vehicle sector will showcase their latest innovations, attracting 4,450 participants from around the world.

From August 3 to 6, 2023, the 2023 International Dragon Awards IDA Annual Global Summit (hereinafter referred to as "IDA Annual Global Summit"), hosted by the IMM International and co-organized by the Haikou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, was held at Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center. The IDA Annual Global Summit focuses on the development of the insurance industry and presents special reports on topics such as social and economic development trends, career improvement, and comprehensive philanthropy, inviting more than 100 outstanding insurance industry figures from home and abroad to share their insights.
2023 Melaleuca (China) Annual Conference

From March 10 to 12, 2023, the 2023 Melaleuca (China) Annual Conference was held at the Conference Center, Zone A, Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center. Approximately 22,000 people from 31 provinces and cities nationwide participated in the conference. This was the first time that Melaleuca held a large-scale conference in Haikou, attracting the extensive participation of tens of thousands of members nationwide
