The fifth China International Consumer Products Expo (hereinafter referred to as the fifth Consumer Expo), jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Hainan Provincial People's Government, was grandly opened at the Oriental Global Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center on April 13, 2025.
The fifth Consumer Expo will be held from April 13 to 18, 2025, under the theme of "Sharing Open Opportunities, Creating a Better Life" Theme, This year's Consumer Expo will have more than 1,700 consumer companies from 71 countries and regions showcasing more than 4,100 brands, with 65 Fortune 500 and leading companies participating, both exceeding the previous session. 。 The United Kingdom will serve as the guest country of honor for this Consumer Expo, with an exhibition area exceeding 1300㎡, and 53 participating brands, approximately double that of the previous session. Simultaneously, this Consumer Expo will, for the first time, establish a guest province (city), with Beijing serving in this role. Beijing will participate in this Consumer Expo deeply with "the highest standards" and an "international perspective," meticulously creating a 400㎡ themed exhibition stand to comprehensively showcase the capital's high-quality development achievements and new opportunities for open cooperation.
This year marks the fifth year of the Consumer Expo. It is the first major international exhibition held in China since the beginning of the year and also the year of the Hainan Free Trade Port's closure and operation. As a beautiful calling card for Hainan's "opening up," the Consumer Expo has been included in the government work report for five consecutive years. Successfully holding this Consumer Expo is of great significance to boosting consumption, promoting high-quality development, and expanding high-level opening up. This Consumer Expo will implement the central government's work requirements on boosting consumption, continue to adhere to the positioning of the "boutique route," gather high-quality consumer product resources and global buyers and sellers, and build the Consumer Expo into a global consumer product display and trading platform that optimizes consumption supply, smooths consumption channels, boosts consumer confidence, and promotes domestic and international dual circulation, creating opportunities for global companies to share the Chinese market and for Chinese companies to go global.
